You should consider home care for yourself or for your loved one when even simple things in life seem hard to complete. Does Dad look thinner? Is mail stacked up by Mom’s front door? Do you noticed any unexplained bruises or noticeable weight loss? Do you see any disinterest in hygiene or housework? These may be signs that you or your loved one needs extra help at home.
We can help you with bathing or shower, dressing, incontinence care, grocery shopping, meal preparation, light house cleaning, laundry, checking your mail, medication reminder, and any other tasks to help one remain independent and in one’s home as much as possible.
Our Caregivers can assist with things to keep you at home as long as possible. They are available for as little as 3 hours (our minimum) up to 24 hours a day.
All Care Hawaii is a great choice for people returning home from a hospital stay or coming out from rehabilitation. Our Caregivers can help you ease your transition from post-surgery to full recovery. We are here to help!
Absolutely! Our Caregivers can assist with transportation. They can drive you using your own vehicle or theirs (with a charge per mile), based on your preference. They can accompany you on your appointments, grocery shopping, attending church and etc. They can also drive you to your events and stay throughout to support and assist you if needed.
No worries! Our Caregivers can provide companionship. They can go on walks with you, play games, talk stories, or whatever it is that you would like to do.
All of our Caregivers are insured and bonded. They also submit to a comprehensive background check process which includes their experience, references, and a criminal records check before they are hired.
Although we are confident that you will be pleased with our services, in the event that you are not happy with our Caregiver or one of our Caregivers, you have the option to request another Caregiver to provide services for you.
We use an electronic system for our Caregivers. It promotes on-time reliability and assures accurate tracking of hours worked for automation of our billing and payroll processes.
An hourly assignment can be whatever is requested by the client. For example from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm or even 8:00 am – 11:00 am. We can configure assignments to meet any need. However, sometimes a client needs someone with them all day and night. This is called a “Live-in” assignment. The Caregiver actually stays in the client’s home and sleeps in the evening. The Caregiver will get up at night to look in on the client or to assist with trips to the bathroom.
In order to provide Live-in care, there must be a place for the aide to sleep and the client cannot get up too many times during the night.
(If the client does not sleep through the night and requires constant supervision, then it is necessary to provide 24 hour shift coverage which is typically done with three 8 hour shifts).
Unfortunately, Medicare does not pay for in home care. However, if the client has long term care insurance or was a veteran, there may be financial assistance to help pay for home care. The majority of our clients develop a budget with us to pay privately.
Yes! All Care Hawaii offers our clients flexibility in scheduling as needed. Any changes must be given at least 24 hours notice. However, the more regular the schedule is, the better the chance of having familiar faces in the home.
No. All Care Hawaii and the client will enter into a mutual service agreement. Client may cancel at any time with 24 hours notice.
All Care Hawaii can provide services to clients anywhere! We can have our Caregivers provide care to individuals in their home, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities or in the hospital.

For Maui location, please call 808-664-3853. For Oahu location, please call 808-206-8409. We will walk you through the process and schedule a complimentary initial home care consultation. After the consultation, we create the care plan, and scheduling works to secure the Caregiver(s). Typically, care begins within 3-5 days from the consultation date, sometimes sooner, and sometimes it takes a little longer. Client needs, the schedule, and location of services can affect the start date.
